Your Position: Home > News > Weekly newsLenovo has finally launched the much anticipated Zuk Edge smartphone, which had been teased by the company for a while now. The phone which has finally hit the Chinese market is expected to go on sale from the first quarter of next year 2017.
With a cost price of CNY 2,299 and CNY 2,499 for both the 4GB of LPDDR4 RAM and 6GB of LPDDR4 RAM variants respectively. One of the highlights of the phone has been said to be made available in Ceramic White and Titanium Crystal Black colour variants that many would find delightful.
In regards with the phone’s specification, it sports a 2.35GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 SoC. The device also features a 5.5-inch full-HD TDDI display with Corning Gorilla Glass that reportedly has an 86.4 percent screen-to-body ratio.
What’s more, the phone also sports a USB Type-C (v3.1) port, sitting under glass U Touch fingerprint sensor that can unlock in less that as 0.09 seconds. Another peculiar feature of the Lenovo’s Zuk Edge is a pneumatic altimeter and a UV light sensor.
Running Android 7.0 Nougat-based ZUI 2.5, the Zuk Edge smartphone also sports a 13-megapixel rear camera with a f/2.2 aperture, a 1.34-micron pixel, ISOCELL sensor, PDAF+CAF hybrid autofocus, and a high-brightness flash. On the frontal section of the phone is an 8-megapixel camera with a 1.12-micron pixel sensor, and a f/2.2 aperture. The phone sports an internal storage of 64GB.
In regards to connectivity options, the new Zuk Edge provides support for 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v4.1, and GPS/ A-GPS. Packing a 3100mAh battery that measures 142.9×74.5×7.68mm and weighs 160 grammes the device also features other sensors including an ambient light, accelerometer, sensor, gyroscope, magnetometer, and proximity sensor.
